More than Thirty Ranches to Meet Your Individual Needs, Location and Budget
Shawnee, CO (Jan. 28, 2009) – Grab your boots and kick off this summer with an all-inclusive ranch experience at one of the more than 30 certified Colorado dude & guest ranches.
Value
When Colorado dude and guest ranches say “all inclusive” they mean “all”. At most ranches, lodging, meals, horseback riding, hiking, rafting, campfires, fishing, jeep tours and many other activities are included in the quoted daily rate. Each Colorado ranch has special activities that may be unique to their ranch such as rock climbing, hot air ballooning, or guided fishing, but they inform guests if these activities cost extra BEFORE arrival. Once, at the ranch, there is something for everyone to enjoy and no wallet-stomping surprises!
“We really get to know each and every guest, their likes and dislikes, and often become extended family by the time they leave,” said Colorado Dude & Guest Ranch Association Marketing Director Selina Heinz. “It’s truly an experience that brings many of our guests back year after year and one you really can’t put a price on.”
Guest ranches offer everything from riding, river rafting, fishing, hiking, tennis and mountain biking to crafts photo workshops, swimming, hayrides, skiing, snowshoeing and much more. Many even offer special themed weeks, and all offer extensive children’s programs that will keep the kid’s entertained for hours.
Reserving the Dates that Fit Your Schedule
For the very best all-inclusive vacation value this summer, book early. The Fourth of July, the first two weeks of August, and Labor Day weeks are among the busiest vacation times in the Colorado mountains. If you wait too long the week you want or your first choice ranch may be booked. And, don’t worry about what to bring. Your ranch will send you a complete list of what to wear to cover all the activities offered at the ranch.
Rates
Rate range from $1,800-$4,200 per week. Partial weeks are sometimes available. Be sure to check for early or late season bargains. Many ranches offer bargain rates the first and last weeks of summer.
The Colorado Dude & Guest Ranch Association (CDGRA) is comprised of about 30 certified ranches located throughout the mountains and mesas of Colorado. For more information and/or request your free Colorado Dude & Guest Ranch vacation guide and DVD, visit www.coloradoranch.com.
